History

Established in 1958 as Jim Morris Sales Company, the agency went through several phases of operation. These transitions occurred on both a local independent agency level as well as a national/international brokerage level. In 2008, operating under the name of SMI Group, the agency joined forces with BancorpSouth Insurance Services, Inc. Today, we represent the first insurance office in the state of Missouri to join the BancorpSouth Insurance family, and we continue to look forward to future growth and expansion throughout the state and region.
